Increasing the level of innovation and competitiveness of PPHU SPAWSTAL Sp. z o.o. and Środa Wielkopolska through investment in a sheet metal bending system

Spawstal Production, Trade and Services Limited Liability Company is implementing a project co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund under the Wielkopolska Regional Operational Programme for 2014–2020, Priority Axis 1: Innovative and competitive economy, Measure 1.5: Strengthening the competitiveness of enterprises, Sub-measure 1.5.2: Strengthening the competitiveness of key areas of the regional economy, entitled: “Increasing the level of innovation and competitiveness of PPHU SPAWSTAL Sp. z o.o. and Środa Wielkopolska through investment in a sheet metal bending system”.

The objective of the project is to increase the competitiveness of Spawstal by introducing:

• an innovative, improved product in the form of CNC machine enclosures, submitted for patent protection,
• new products – electrical cabinets, municipal waste bins and letterboxes,
• improved automated sheet metal bending and powder coating services with ultrasonic cleaning.

As a result of the project, a manufacturing technology developed through the company’s own R&D activities will be implemented, along with an innovative product based on this technology.
